Istvántelek Train Yard

Train buffs may not want to miss the unusual Red Star Train Graveyard, located at a rail yard outside of Budapest. There are over 100 retired trains that have been sent here to, well… to rust. There are a variety of cars from the early 20th century at this rail depot, including Soviet-era carriages, and some rare train equipment.

Many of the train carriages are rusting outside the depot station -- an interesting setting for photographers and train buffs.
