Itinerary
Coveted translucent waters convey us through the West Indies, beginning with Barbados and circling through the BVIs, via Trinidad and the Caribbean’s best birdlife. We’ll slip seamlessly between lush rainforest and active volcano, and from bountiful botanical gardens to the world’s most beautiful beaches, snorkeling the shallows and diving shipwrecks of the deep, each island sparkling with colour and conviviality.
Gently breeze into the vibrant capital of Barbados. Steeped in fascinating history, with architecture to match, uncover the wonderfully laid-back West Indian ambiance. Embrace the slow Bajan rhythm of this welcoming island; surf, snorkel and try spotting turtles in balmy azure waters. Explore subterranean Harrison’s Cave, Jacobean St Nicholas Abbey and zipline high above bountiful tropical flora. Then return to restore on pastel pink sands at palm-studded beaches, where you’ll discover cocktail hour is endless, and measures of rum are copious.
Bequia, the second-largest island in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, is a charming, laid-back destination known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant marine life, and friendly locals. The island has a rich maritime history, with a strong tradition of boat building and whaling. Port Elizabeth, the main town, is a bustling hub with colorful markets, shops, and restaurants, while beaches like Princess Margaret and Lower Bay offer tranquil spots for swimming and sunbathing.
Fort-de-France, the capital of Martinique, combines French-Caribbean charm with rich history and beautiful landscapes. The city boasts colonial architecture, vibrant markets, and cultural attractions like the Schoelcher Library and Saint-Louis Cathedral. With nearby beaches, lush botanical gardens, and access to the scenic Mount Pelée, Fort-de-France offers visitors a taste of Martinique’s natural beauty and unique heritage.
Little Bay in Montserrat is a tranquil area and the island’s developing capital, offering picturesque views of the Caribbean Sea and lush hills. It serves as a gateway to Montserrat’s unique attractions, including black sand beaches, vibrant marine life, and the nearby Soufrière Hills Volcano. Visitors can enjoy the serene atmosphere, explore local markets, and experience the island’s friendly, welcoming culture.
Tortola, the largest island in the British Virgin Islands, is known for its stunning white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and lush mountainous landscape. Road Town, the island’s capital, offers vibrant markets, historic sites, and a lively marina. With excellent opportunities for sailing, snorkeling, and exploring hidden coves, Tortola is a favorite destination for those seeking both adventure and relaxation in a beautiful Caribbean setting.
