Antarctica Itinerary

This luxury expedition offers an intimate experience of the White Continent, known for its towering glaciers, vast icebergs, and abundant wildlife.

Day 1: King George Island (Embarkation)
Arrival
Thu, Nov 13, 2025
Departure
Thu, Nov 13, 2025 - 6:00 PM

King George Island is a stunning destination in Antarctica known for its dramatic landscapes and diverse wildlife. Visitors can explore its icy terrain, picturesque bays, and vibrant research stations.

Day 2: Antarctic Sound
Fri, Nov 14, 2025

Antarctic Sound, also known as Iceberg Alley, offers breathtaking views of vast skies, towering icebergs, and ever-changing weather. Travelers can witness abundant wildlife, including colonies of Adelie penguins and seals resting on floating ice floes.

Days 3-5: Antarctic Peninsula
Sat, Nov 15, 2025
Mon, Nov 17, 2025

The Antarctic Peninsula extends beyond the Antarctic Circle, reaching toward the Andes across the notorious Drake Passage. During summer, over 3,000 researchers populate the area, but in winter, that number drops to fewer than 1,000.

Day 6: South Shetland Islands
Tue, Nov 18, 2025

The ice-coated Antarctic Peninsula forms perhaps the most accessible region of mainland Antarctica, lying a mere 480-miles away from South America, across the fabled waters of Drakes Passage. Lying close to the northwestern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula, separated by the Bransfield Strait, the South Shetland Islands fall under the jurisdiction of the Antarctic Treaty, suspending claims on their sovereignty. Several countries maintain research bases here, and with plump elephant seals, and crowds of Gentoo, Chinstrap and Adelie Penguins also calling the islands home, it can even feel a little crowded at times.

Day 7: King George Island (Disembarkation)
Arrive
Wed, Nov 19, 2025 - 5:30 AM

As the largest of all the South Shetland Island, King George is considered the gateway to Antarctica. At just 120 kilometres from the Antarctic Peninsula and the only airport in the South Shetlands, it is the connection between “real life” and “Antarctic life”.
