Colette's Story
My love for travel began when my family moved to the main Island of Tahiti. Our colorfully painted Tahitian house had a waterfall behind it and a black sand beach in front. The best part was our own natural spring for water and our Tahitian neighbor who took us on a hike up to the top of the waterfall with my little sister on his shoulders. This experience expanded my mind and senses.
I attended Chapman College’s “Semester at Sea” program with classroom studies and extended land explorations. Four months full of wonderful ports and learning about local cultures, economies, and social issues.
In my 20s, I worked at the King Kamehameha and Kona Surf Hotels and also Kona Charter Skippers on the Big Island of Hawaii. During my 30s, I was operations manager for “To Hawaii Only,”” an agency in Southern California. Since then, I have specialized in European travel. I have roots in France, Switzerland, England, and Ireland.
I enjoy helping others with their ancestry explorations, and I love to create “personalized activities and adventures” to make your vacation more fun and meaningful.
