Hyunsoo's Story
Travel, for me, is a way of understanding life.
It opens my mind, keeps my heart beating with curiosity, and reminds me of how connected we all are. I’m always drawn to what’s unfamiliar, whether it’s a back alley café in a city I thought I knew or a sacred site on the other side of the world that leaves me breathless.
I’ve traveled to over 60 countries, each time not just to see, but to feel. I learned early on that some of the most profound experiences come from unexpected moments, such as being invited into an Uzbek family’s home in Samarkand for dinner and stories, or sweating in a Russian banya on a remote island in Sakhalin with locals who became friends.
Before entering the travel industry, I worked as a Director of Photography for television documentaries. That role took me to incredible places and taught me to seek out both beauty and truth. It also gave me the storytelling tools I now use when designing journeys for my clients.
Travel is not about checking places off a list. It is about designing meaningful experiences, moments that stay in your memory, shape your identity, and connect you to the world. Whether it’s dining on a Paris rooftop overlooking the Seine with your family or stepping off the train in a tiny village in Provence, I believe luxury lies in intention and presence.
Today, I work as a luxury travel advisor, curating one-of-a-kind trips that combine cultural depth, personal passions, and unforgettable comfort. I especially enjoy creating personalized journeys for travelers with specific interests, whether it’s culinary experiences, wellness, history, or something uniquely their own.
