Leeanne's Story
From jet skiing in Bora Bora to admiring the view from the Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, I’ve seen many special sights, which I love encouraging my clients to experience. One of my most memorable vacations included receiving holy communion from Pope John Paul at the famed Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France.
The travel bug bit me long ago and combined well with my interest in other cultures. My years as a travel agent have been some of the most rewarding. I love when a client has a fabulous trip that has been enriched by my expertise and firsthand knowledge of a destination. When I’m not helping others plan their getaways, you can often find me swimming or collecting shells.
I’m drawn to tropical destinations, like Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Mexico, where vacations tend to be more relaxing and beach oriented. I relate to something Jacques Cousteau said: “The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.” Dubai, which I’m also familiar with firsthand, has quickly risen to the top of the must-visit list for many discerning travelers and offers something more unique.
My bit of travel advice: look at all the details and make sure you’re getting what you really want. Spending a couple hundred dollars won’t matter in the long run, and you’ll be happier if your room has a view of the ocean instead of the parking lot!
