I had the fortune of recently traveling on a celebrity hosted cruise featuring a radio personality that I listen to on my daily commute to work. Not only did I find my host entertaining and humorous, but I found I learned quite a bit as well. At the start of our trip, myself and fellow travelers enjoyed a Welcome reception with our host. Getting to know each other was a great starting point for our trip, as friendships grew. Not only did I enjoy our host’s presentations and company, but the camaraderie of my fellow passengers who shared perspectives and points of view.

Throughout our journey, we attended presentations by our host, who even joined us on some of our sightseeing tours. Evenings we enjoyed cocktail parties and dinners, all while discussing important issues and sharing a laugh.

From the very start of my journey, I was taken care of. No planning was needed on my part at all. I had the luxury of sitting back and relaxing as we cruised through exciting locales and take in the sights, smells, and sounds. On my Mediterranean cruise, I walked the streets of Marseilles, France and toured the Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica. I later dined on fresh local fish and shopped the local market. A few days later, my more adventurous shipmates bicycled through the Tuscan countryside. I opted for an excursion to Pisa, where I enjoyed, of course, the Leaning Tower, as well as the Campo dei Miracoli.

The pricing was inclusive of the special events with the host and on my voyage we received a special spa and shipboard credit. Some of the trips may include unlimited shore excursions, and round-trip airfare.

My celebrity hosted cruise was a journey I will never forget. Not only did I visit exotic and romantic locales, taking in the sights and smells, and eating and drinking my way through them, but I did so with my new friends and host. It was a unique experience that will last a lifetime.
