Oceana Hotel, Santa Monica

In recent years a number of hotel and resorts have opened up or been refurbished in Santa Monica, California. I went to see the Oceana Hotel last night and I think it’s a great property. All of the rooms are suites with large living rooms and separate bedrooms. Some face Ocean Avenue and some face the pool in the center courtyard. All of the rooms were re-done about a year ago and the fabrics and furnishings are spotless and lovely.

There is a dining room just for hotel guests and it’s lovely and quiet. Celebrities like to stay here partly for that reason!
