One & Only Palmilla, Cabo San Lucas

One and Only Palmilla is a five star Old Mexico Hacienda Style resort. They offer a selection of two- and three-story buildings sprawled on either side of the reception area and lobby. The rooms/suites are ample size (Smallest at 500 sq. ft. and largest at 1,400 Sq. ft.) Room categories include Ocean Front, Beach Front. Patio Jr Suite, Casita Jr Suite etc. Depending on the accommodations, there will be double vanity sinks, sculptured tub, and some with double head showers.

When we saw the property, the entire side by the adult pool was closed. They were putting in individual plunge pools in the Beach Front Casita Jr Suites. This project will be finished by November 2008. The rest of the property was not affected at all. Most people were not aware this area was closed.

There are three restaurants at One and Only Palmilla: Breeze, C by Charlie Trotter, and Agua. The fitness center is complimentary to guests. They have Mandara Spa facilities. There is a 27 hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. A “Kids” only program is available, and the resort has child-size lounge chairs at their pool. The property has access to a swimmable beach, just a short walk away.

The One and Only Palmilla offers a wonderful Mexican atmosphere, and always has repeat guests.
