Riviera Maya, Karisma Resorts & El Dorade Maroma Resort

I was fortunate enough to escort a Destination Wedding group I planned last May on the Riviera Maya in Mexico. For the lucky couple I had selected the El Dorado Maroma Resort and Spa, and this property exceeded their expectations and mine.

In search of an all-inclusive boutique hotel with numerous dining options, my clients and their family and friends were beyond thrilled with their experience at this resort and its pristine white sand beach. The staff at the El Dorado Maroma Resort and Spa made them feel so special and enhanced their bonding moments, all while providing extremely great service and really good food at all their restaurants.

With only 98 rooms, this resort is perfectly located on the world-famous Maroma beach. The wedding couple was particularly excited about the new backdrop at the El Dorado Maroma as this property is now the only hotel to feature overwater all-inclusive bungalows in Mexico. These 30 thatched-roof bungalows are called ‘palafitos,’ and they all come with their own private concierge. They are scheduled for completion and ready for booking September 1^st, 2016. (In order to book them, however, one has to deal with a Karisma Hotels and Resorts certified specialist like myself.)

Accompanying my wedding group was exciting, as I was able to finally meet everyone in person I had been communicating with for months. It was beyond rewarding to be there for each guest every step of the way, and assist them on their vacation. My personal high point of this Destination Wedding trip was when the bride and groom acknowledged me at their wedding reception – it was truly a lasting and unforgettable moment in my travel career.

Part of my stay included a full-day doing site inspections of all the Karisma resorts located on the Riviera Maya, including El Dorado Seaside Suites & Hidden Beach Resort – both located in Tulum; Azul Fives – located in Playa del Carmen; and Azul Sensatori, Azul Beach, El Dorado Royale, El Dorado Casitas & Generations – all located on the Riviera Maya strip.

Depending on what matters most, whether it be proximity to attractions and tours, an adults-only or kid-friendly resort (some with Nickelodeon kids clubs), a party zone or quiet haven, or relaxing on the perfect beach (even sans clothes!), the Karisma Resorts truly have something for everyone. All you need to do is choose the right property to match your travel expectations.

The common threads between all of Karisma’s resorts are their impeccable service, their contemporary and spaciously designed rooms, and their delectable and high-end dining options all of which can be rather difficult to find in a destination such as Mexico.
