St. Regis Kauai Takes the Cake

I am back from the St. Regis Kauai, Hawaii, where I spent the most gorgeous, amazing five nights in their 2,400 sq ft Royal Suite! The St. Regis raised the bar so high with accommodations, setting, decor and staff that everything else from here on will pale in comparison.

Our Suite was gorgeous!! We didn’t want to leave it. It had the most breathtaking views of the ocean, it was spacious, I mean huge, and all around wonderful. I could go on and on listing all the little great things that I loved from the time I woke up until sun down.

To sum it up, these were the nicest accommodations I’ve stayed in. I also asked to see a couple of standard rooms to get a feel for the hotel and I was quite impressed. The amenities are the same as the suite and every room is spacious at 527 sq ft with a combination of mountain and ocean views. There are no bad views from this hotel.

The pool area is well kept and run efficiently by the St. Regis staff, always ready to pass out oversized fresh towels, cold water and scented ice towels to cool down. A beautiful infinity pool and Jacuzzi make way to easy access to the beach. They have a separate kid’s pool as well.

The modern furnishings, the Hawaiian flair and the setting, make the St. Regis a worthwhile stay. I hope I can go back soon to Kauai and its lush tropical setting. My favorite of the Hawaiian islands so far.
