The Fairmont Hotel in Downtown Dallas

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Fairmont Dallas, which is included in our Signature Hotels & Resorts program. We were upgraded from a standard city view room to a one-bedroom suite, offering a separate living room and bedroom, ideal for families traveling together. It had floor to ceiling windows with amazing views of the pool and downtown Dallas.

The lobby was quite smaller than I expected, with a bar and some sitting areas. Next to the bar is the four-star Pyramid Restaurant. As a TravelStore guest we were able to enjoy full complimentary breakfast as our included amenity and we took full advantage of this. They offered a full breakfast buffet or you could order off a full menu including but limited to, eggs benedict, Texas-style French toast and, of course, steak and eggs.

Fairmont Dallas is ideally located in the heart of the downtown Dallas Arts District, surrounded by a wide array of fine dining restaurants, shopping, arts and entertainment.

It was within walking distance to museums and restaurants. A car is necessary when traveling to Dallas, as they have so many fun things outside the city, such as Fort Worth Stockyard. This was a fun experience at the Fort Worth Stockyards, its uniquely Texas by providing an exciting blend of old and new with over 25 unique shops, restaurants and bars. They do the historic herd cattle drive, bull-riding and, of course, lots of great BBQ food.
