The Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos
The flight from Los Angeles to Cabo was fast and easy. When I landed, a driver from Transcabo was waiting to transfer me to Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. The ride only took twenty minutes and the driver was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I was offered an ice cold beer and water for the ride.
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is an all-inclusive resort in San Jose del Cabo and which offers an abundance of restaurant and activity options. Just ten minutes from the center of San Jose del Cabo and thirty minutes from Cabo San Lucas, this family-friendly resort is a great option for multi-generational families, groups, and couples.
The hotel has 591 rooms, including swim up suites and one- and two-bedroom options. There are many connecting options as well. The swim up suites are now adult-only; these suites near the adults-only pool are a great option for adults looking for romance. There are kidz and teen clubs available so parents can drop off their children and enjoy some alone time. While the ocean in front of the hotel is not swimmable, there is a beautiful sandy beach where you can play volleyball or take a yoga class.
There are a multitude of restaurants and bars to choose from. I really enjoyed and recommend El Cortijo, the Spanish restaurant, for dinner and Coco Loco Snack Bar for an afternoon snack.
One night, I opted to leave the resort in order to experience a sunset dinner cruise. This cruise was aboard the Caborey and brought us to the arch just as the sun was setting. Live music, a Mexican buffet, and unlimited drinks made for a fun evening. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos’ staff was able to set up the dinner cruise including transportation to/from the resort. They made the experience seamless.
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos’ staff is friendly and eager to assist with all requests. This resort is a wonderful option for Los Cabos.
