The Resort at Pedregal
No detail is left behind at The Resort at Pedregal in Los Cabos.
The feeling of enchantment starts from the moment you turn off the main road. You see a discreet sign letting you know that you have arrived at Pedregal and to proceed through a dark tunnel. The moment you exit the tunnel you feel an immediate sense of relaxation, a feeling that you have discovered a secret haven, and you have found yourself a taste of paradise!
Pedregal feels like you are visiting a long lost relative at their beautiful Mexican colonial home. The staff is beyond welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The reception area feels more like an outside living room, that overlooks the ocean, rather than your traditional check-in area. Right from the start you will notice the modern colonial décor with no detail overlooked.
The rooms are spectacular. The décor is warm and welcoming, there are fireplaces and private plunge pools in many of the rooms, making it for the perfect romantic escape.
Luna y Mar, the spa on property, has a Mexico meets Morocco vibe. It is very tranquil with a lot of emphasis on water and their main focus is catering their services based on the moon and the current state of energy it gives off. When there is a full moon they will provide treatments that are counteractive to that of the moon’s energy, offering more calm experiences. When the moon is lacking energy and you need more of a pick me up, they focus their spa beverages and treatments on giving you a boost.
Dining at Pedregal should not be missed. Not only is the food fresh and mouthwateringly delicious, the setting and ambiance is so romantic. With views of the pacific and the perfect lighting, it is one of the best spots to take in a sunset. Again, you will feel the level of service when dining at Pedregal. The staff is very attentive and caters to all dietary restrictions without hesitation.
After soaking up the sun, spending some time at the swim up bar, enjoying a spa treatment catered to you and your needs, and indulging in the fresh Mexican fare you won’t want to leave. You will most likely be planning your return visit before you even head home!
